Designed by George Nelson & Associates, the Pill Desk Clock is distinguished by its simple, compact form and distinctive wire-detail dial. The rounded body sits on a polished chrome-finished base, giving the clock a clean architectural presence while keeping the overall design remarkably compact.
The Pill was reissued by Vitra in 2004 as part of its collection of George Nelson clocks. The design combines a quartz movement with a restrained arrangement of materials and geometric forms, characteristic of Nelson’s approach to everyday objects.
Offered here is a 2004 Vitra example, new and unused with its original packaging. The model is no longer in current production, making examples from the 2004 edition increasingly difficult to find.
