This is purchased directly from a private collection. This is a Richard Derespina Brooklyn Bowie XL of which I showed to Richard Derespina to get him to see if he can identify. He says this was made about 5 years ago and that's about 2020. He did confirm that the steel on this one is made from 154cm. What's surprising to me is that this has a sharpened Bowie front top so this is double-edged. The blade thickness on this one is .21" on my Micrometer. This has a Saber Ground Blade with the flats finished in a Spalted Steel Finish. There is filework done on the other part of the spine that is not sharpened with a thumb ramp on the top where the handle starts. The handle on this is a textured Brown/Black G10 Handle with a custom Skull Crusher/Window Punch at the end of the handle. Marked on the blade is "Derespina Knives, USA." Custom Black Kydex sheath custom made for this exact knife will come with this knife. Here is your chance to own a custom piece of Richard Derespina History! Looking this over, I would easily saying this is still Brand New, this was never used, carried or sharpened. There might be small markings on the blade from the kydex sheath that I didn't see. I think the pictures speak for itself.I do have additional pictures of this knife on my fb if you want to see. Please ask if you have questions or would like more pictures before purchase as all sales are final.
