Vintage Mexican Majolica Plates – Complete 15-Piece Curated Collection.
A spectacular, comprehensive 15-piece collection of vintage ceramic accent plates showcasing the vibrant, freehand Arts & Crafts folk art heritage of Guanajuato, Mexico.
• 7 Salad / Luncheon Plates: 7-inch diameter (approx.)
• 8 Bread / Dessert Plates: 5-inch diameter (approx.)
Why This Collection Is Special:
This entire lot is unmistakably from the same artisan studio—sharing matching rich cobalt blue feathered borders, dark leaf greens, deep ochre/browns, and creamy slips.
However, because each piece was freehand brush-painted by regional artisans, every single plate features a completely unique central floral motif. There are no duplicate designs!
This "same palette, different face" factor creates an incredible visual energy that you simply cannot get with mass-produced tableware.
Perfect for Entertaining & Decor:
Since these plates share a cohesive color blueprint but feature individual details, they are perfect for setting an eclectic, high-end look at your next gathering.
With 15 plates across two versatile accent sizes, you have a complete, instant service for party appetizers, tapas, charcuterie, desserts, or bread.
When not on the table, the collective layout makes a breathtaking, high-density wall art gallery installation.
Condition & Craftsmanship:
Excellent vintage condition with no major chips or structural cracks. Every plate features the classic, distinctly tactile, waxy low-fire tin glaze typical of authentic vintage Mexican earthenware. Each plate hand thrown, variations of round. Rims are clean and colors remain beautifully vibrant.
Authentic impressed block-letter "MADE IN MEXICO" export stamp directly in the wet clay on the reverse unglazed foot rings.
