The vessel has a scalloped lotus-form rim, a rounded bowl-shaped upper section, and a flared pedestal decorated with radiating ribs. Repeated raised lotus-petal motifs encircle the exterior, creating an attractive combination of sculptural detail and traditional Chinese design.
The glaze displays subtle shades of ivory, pale blue-gray, and moon white, with delicate variations in tone that enhance the vessel's understated beauty. The overall appearance reflects the aesthetic of traditional Chinese monochrome ceramics associated with the Song Dynasty Jun ware tradition.
The underside features five small firing support marks. The vessel is unmarked, with no visible maker's mark or inscription.
This distinctive piece would make an attractive addition to a collection of Chinese ceramics, Jun ware-style pottery, monochrome glazed vessels, or Asian decorative art.
