USGI Skilcraft SealLine Waterproofing Large Stuff Sack – Type VIDescription
This listing is for the Genuine USGI Skilcraft/SealLine Waterproof Stuff Sack (Type VI). Produced through a collaboration between Skilcraft and the waterproofing experts at SealLine (Cascade Designs), this "Type VI" sack is a heavy-duty storage solution designed for the most extreme maritime and field conditions. With a massive internal volume, it is specifically engineered to keep high-loft items—like the Modular Sleep System (MSS) or bulky cold-weather parkas—completely dry, even if your rucksack is submerged or exposed to torrential rain.
Material: 210D urethane-coated nylon with high-frequency welded seams.
Closure: Reinforced roll-top with a heavy-duty dual-action buckle.
Color: Black.
Key Features & Design Elements
Elite Waterproofing: Unlike "water-resistant" bags, this sack features fully welded seams (not stitched) to create a 100% airtight and watertight barrier.
Massive Capacity: The Type VI is one of the largest in the inventory, designed to act as a complete liner for the main compartment of a Large MOLLE II or FILBE rucksack.
Air-Purge Technology: Constructed with a fabric that allows air to be squeezed out during the rolling process while preventing water from entering, allowing for maximum compression.
Condition: Used by our Troops in Great Condition, may be mildly dirty, no holes, fully functional, Overall Great Condition.
