Had to give this incredible agate its own name. Never seen anything like this piece: beautiful and vibrant banding, beautiful tunes and sagenite sprays, and beautiful platelets scatter the surface of this polished specimen. I personally think the headless chicken is very apparent but feel free to let me know if that’s taking it too far and you can’t see the chicken. Another one of those pieces that I sorta hope never sells as I’ll never find something similar to it. Collector quality, one of a kind, whatever you want to call it. I just know it’s a headless chicken agate. Also while taking photos I noticed a portion of the husk that has fibrous, asbestiform (?) mineral growth on it. Perhaps I’m wrong and this is paper towel from when it was first discovered and wiped down. But after pulling out a loupe it looked quite natural to me. Wanted to mention that before it’s discovered on its own.
