8x11 ecru paper with printed letterhead of CONSOLIDATED MOTORS, INC. of Columbus, Georgia, sent to D W J Tatum in Richland, Georgia trying to interest him in a brand new Hudson or Essex with the enticement of a credit towards the purchase price. The typed letter is signed by Burrel C Cole, the company president. The date of the letter is October 29, 1929- the day after Black Monday which was the cherry on top of the Wall Street Crash. The stationery is in very clean condition. The original mailing envelope is included although it is torn and soiled.
