Presented is a handmade vintage "Flower Basket" applique/pieced quilt. It is green, pink and white. Baskets with flower designs have been a popular motif since the 1850's. The baskets are pieced and the appliqued flowers are added. Very unique that it has an eight point star in the center of each flower basket. All white backing.Measures 84" X 84". Weighs 3 pounds 5 ounces without the box. Very good condition with some fading and one visible spot with wear. No stains.
