MARXMAN: The Marxman Pipe Company was founded in 1934 by Robert Marx in New York City. In 1953 they merged with Mastercraft after nearly two decades of production. He elevated the brand\'s prestige by featuring the faces of Hollywood Stars like Ronald Reagan, Zachary Scott, and Jack Carson. Mr. Marx is also credited with organizing the world\'s first formal Pipe-Smoking contests. The deeply craggy texture is typical of Marxman\'s lines which were intentional carved to give each piece an individual organic look where \"no two pipes were alike\". The Algerian Briar wood was heavily celebrated for it\'s oil-cured aging process, making these Pipes famous among Collectors for delivering an incredibly cool, smooth, and flavorful smoke.
