VTG 1930s-40s Enamel Pin Little Hiawatha Style Cartoon Native American Indian For Sale

Vintage Figural Enamel Pin, Cartoon Native American Boy with Bow and Quiver, c. 1930s-1940s

A small, charming figural pin from the late 1930s to 1940s. The cartoon-style standing boy wears a feather headband, carries a quiver of arrows on his back, and holds a bow. Red and black enamel is set in gold-tone raised outlines. The white eye highlights look hand-painted, which gives him a lot of personality.

The design closely resembles Disney’s Little Hiawatha (1937 Silly Symphony) and may have been inspired by that character. The pin is unmarked. Measures just shy of 1 inch.
