Here is a rare opportunity to obtain brand new, mint T-shirts from the debut of the first original retail Apple Stores. On May 19, 2001, in a bold move amidst ridicule by many, Apple opened its first two retail stores. Store #001 was the Glendale Galleria in California, but because of the three hour time difference from the East Coast, the Tysons Corner store in Viginia was technically actually the first store to open. From day one, Apple established the tradition of giving away free souvenir T-shirts (size XL) to the first people in line to enter a new store, each in its own clear plastic tube. These have never been opened and have remained in their original clear tubes, which are also in mint condition.
