Dated March 25,1935, this machine represents the pinnacle of American manufacturing integrity. Shortly after this production block, Singer transitioned its Elizabethport, New Jersey factory to produce military ammunitions for the war effort, making mid-1940 machines scarce and highly valuable due to historical importance and superior pre-war craftsmanship.
This peice, featuring the highly desirable, premium chrome "scrolled" Art - Deco faceplate. The glossy black enamel finish retains a pristine shine, and the original gold geometric decals remain in excellent condition
