Vintage 1960s Texaco Fire Chief Helmet Brown & Bigelow USA Toy Hat Parts Repair

Vintage 1960s Texaco Fire Chief promotional toy fireman helmet, manufactured by Brown & Bigelow of St. Paul, Minnesota, USA.
This classic advertising piece features a bright red molded plastic fire chief helmet with a large white TEXACO FIRE CHIEF shield on the front, Texaco star logo, and yellow number “1” graphics on the brim. The interior retains its adjustable suspension/headband assembly along with the original electronic sound components and wiring.
The helmet has been tested with new batteries, which are included, but the electronic/sound feature is not currently working. It may be repairable, but no further troubleshooting has been performed.
Please note that the original gold eagle ornament is missing from the front/top area. The helmet otherwise presents well for its age and would make a great display piece for a Texaco, gas station, advertising, firefighting, or vintage toy collection.

Condition Report:
Pre-owned vintage condition with age-related wear throughout. Red plastic shows scratches, scuffs, surface marks, light discoloration, and general handling wear. Front Texaco shield has discoloration, grime, scratches, and age-related wear, including some visible cracking/crazing in the plastic. Interior suspension and electrical components remain present.
The sound/electronic function was tested using new batteries and did not operate. Batteries are included. Item is being sold as non-working / for parts or repair, although it may be repairable. The gold eagle ornament is missing. No major break to the main helmet shell is apparent in the photos, but please inspect all images closely for exact condition.
Vintage used condition with scratches and age wear; electronics do not work when tested with new batteries, and the gold eagle ornament is missing.
