Vintage American Scrappy Block Strip Quilt - 1930\'s - 64 x 76: $125.00
Fantastic and well used primitive scrappy block quilt, probably from the 1930\'s or early 1940\'s based on the textiles and backing. Each of the 7\" x 7\" blocks are made of strips from 1\" to 2.5\" wide. Many of the blocks are unstructured but there\'s a churn dash block in there as well. There\'s a thick border on the right side of the quilt and the bottom, but not on the left or top. Several really cool, unusual textiles used that I tried to photograph. Dimensions are 64\" by 76\". A few areas of loss and fraying on the one of the edges. Backing is in generally good condition with no holes to note. Free of odors. Appears to be mostly hand-quilted. A great piece of Americana.
