Fantastic older Marco Polo travel bags. This is the coated canvas so they are much stiffer bags than their traditional leather. I think that these will probably last forever as they are so tough and scratch resistant. Inside the zippered pocket you\'ll find the Bottega Veneta tag with Serial numbers, materials, care and dating. Unfortunately, other than style #, I believe it remains largely a mystery on how to read these older codes, unlike the more recent codes on tags. This number for this bag is 972056.
It\'s in good vintage condition but like most vintage bags, does show some wear. For this tough bag, the ware is mostly on the gold hardware that holds the strap on. The hardware does show some scratching commiserate with age but still in good shape, please see pictures. I noticed no rips or tears and the fabric on the inside looks great. The only other condition issue, noted in the photos as well is a few small loose threads on the strap . The strap can be worn as a double over your shoulder or a 19\" inch crossbody when worn not doubled. I\'ve included pictures both ways.

Returns:
All returns must be postmarked no later than 30 days after receiving the item. I will take the item as a return but the buyer must pay shipping. It must also be returned in the same condition it was received.

I graduated with a Bachelor\'s in Interior Design in \'97. I worked in the field for 20 years successfully until having twins with medical issues. This necessitated my transition to a different kind of work and staying home with them. Recently, I have reignited my passion for design with my (mostly) vintage and antiques business.
