A fantastic piece of vintage medical equipment with excellent display appeal and named-hospital provenance.
Includes the electrocardiograph, wooden carrying case, recording paper, assorted original/period patient lead wires, electrode clips and cables shown in the photos.
The machine itself is marked Cambridge Simpli-Scribe Model Electrocardiograph No. B.M. 18018, with the control panel marked Cambridge Instrument Co., Inc., Ossining, N.Y., No. B.M. 17850.
Controls include Stylus Heat, Sensitivity, Standardize 1 M.V., Leads, Position and Record.
Condition: Vintage pre-owned condition with expected cosmetic wear, scratches, marks and aging from use and storage. The wooden case presents very nicely overall. Cables and accessories show age-related wear. Please review all photos carefully for condition and included components.
UNTETESTED: Due to the age of this equipment, it has not been plugged in or powered on. No attempt has been made to test its electrical or recording functions. It is being sold as-is as a vintage medical collectible/display piece and not for medical use.
