Vintage Cold Steel 13A Tanto Knife Made in Japan : $269.99
Vintage Cold Steel Model 13A Tanto fixed-blade knife, made in Japan and dating to the early Cold Steel production era, approximately mid-1980s to 1991.
Blade is marked “TANTO by Cold Steel Ventura, Calif.” on one side and “Made in Japan” on the reverse.
Features the desirable early-style brass guard and pointed brass pommel with lanyard hole, black diamond-pattern Kraton/rubber grip, and black leather belt sheath.
This is the earlier 13A configuration produced before Cold Steel transitioned to stainless-steel fittings in the early 1990s.
Knife and sheath are in vintage pre-owned condition with age-related wear. Blade shows scratches/handling marks. Brass guard and pommel have natural oxidation/patina. Grip remains intact with good texture. Leather sheath shows normal age and use wear. Please review all photos closely for exact condition.
