Up for sale is a vintage Gordon Cycle bicycle license plate / dealer advertising tag from Cleveland, Ohio.
The plate reads:
“GORDON CYCLE – SALES – SERVICE – 762 E. 105TH.”
Features a bicycle graphic in the center with red reflector-style sections.
Approximate measurements:
• 5-1/2" wide
• 2-1/2" tall, not including the mounting tab
This appears to be an older dealer advertising bicycle plate/tag. I do not believe it was used, but I cannot confirm this, so it is being listed as used.
It has age-related shelf/storage wear, including scratches, discoloration, surface wear, oxidation/rust spots, and other cosmetic imperfections from many years of storage.
I have not attempted to clean or restore it. It is being sold exactly as found, and the buyer may be able to clean it up and improve its appearance.
