Beautiful vintage 800 silver Kiddush cup featuring an engraved Hebrew inscription, decorative designs, and a lovely gold-washed interior.
I believe that the Hebrew inscription reads \"Shabbat Kodesh,\" meaning \"Holy Sabbath\" or \"Sacred Sabbath.\" The cup may traditionally be associated with the Jewish Sabbath and the blessing over wine. I tried to include photos of the inscription.
The exterior features delicate hand-engraved-style decorative motifs, including geometric borders and ornamental detailing. The cup has a gently flared shape with a rolled rim and a warm gold-toned interior.
The underside is stamped EZADA 800, indicating 800 silver (80% silver content).
A charming piece of vintage Judaica, ideal for collectors of Jewish ceremonial silver, antique and vintage silverware, or traditional Sabbath accessories.
