Collection of 5 authentic vintage Slovakian folk art ceramic wall plates.
Handcrafted in 1997 by the famous Slovenská ľudová majolika workshops in the historic pottery town of Modra, Slovakia.
This set features two distinct, complementary styles that look absolutely incredible when arranged together as a gallery wall display. These are the larger 10\" - 10.5\" statement pieces and not the smaller 7.5\" versions. Each plate comes with pre-drilled holes on the reverse side, making them ready to hang immediately!
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THIS 5-PIECE SET:

• (3) Pattern #572 Lattice Rim Plates (10.5\" Diameter): Features a tight, intricate reticulated openwork design accented with different colors and borders. Includes a central multi-colored floral bouquet.
• (2) Pattern #543 Flower Cutout Rim Plates (10\" Diameter): Features a wider rim with large, elegant flower-shaped cutouts. The central motif showcases a traditional regional flower pot arrangement using classic Modra cobalt blues, yellows, and purples.

Each plate features the original hand-painted factory markings on the reverse side. This includes the hand-painted style numbers (572 and 543), the hand-painted \"MODRA\" city origin mark, and the master painter\'s initial/flourish signature. They also retain the official blue \"Slovenská ľudová majolika Modra\" factory paper label with the 104/97 batch/year stamp, confirming their exact 1997 production.
Condition:Excellent vintage condition! There are no chips, structural cracks, and no repairs. The bottom left #543 style plate has faint crazing that is difficult to notice and hard to capture with my camera, but I tried.
These are decorative wall plates and not intended to be eaten off of. Y\'know, because of all the holes. But maybe you enjoy a challenge.
