Vintage Oldest Volkstedt Porcelain Four Cherub Grouping Harvest Scene Mint Cond: $649.00
Up for sale is a exceptionally rare and magnificent 19th-century antique Volkstedt German porcelain figurine group. This elaborate and highly detailed piece features three children (putti/cherubs) playing music with a pan flute while riding and interacting with a decorated goat. It is crafted in the iconic Bacchus/Harvest allegorical style originally created by Johann Joachim Kändler for Meissen.
The figurine group is in overall excellent antique condition. The hand-painted porcelain enamels, detailed facial features, and delicate gilded accents remain vibrant and beautifully preserved with no signs of major damage or restoration.
The underside clearly displays the authentic underglaze blue Volkstedt factory mark, stamped export marks, and impressed mold/form numbers (11737).
Due to the delicate nature of this fine antique porcelain, the item will be packaged with extreme care using heavy-duty bubble wrap and double-boxing to ensure safe, fully insured delivery.
