A Captivating Prism of Vintage ManhattanRun your hand across the glass-smooth, cold surface of this solid acrylic sculpture, and you instantly feel the substantial, premium weight of authentic mid-century Lucite artistry. Gaze into the crystal-clear block as you tilt it toward the light, and watch the tiny, hand-carved white skyscrapers dance behind the polished surface. The dramatic silhouette features the iconic towers of pre-2001 Lower Manhattan rising from a geometric horizon, suspended beneath a beautifully surreal sky filled with carved, sailing gulls. Recognized by top-tier modern art galleries, this is a deeply nostalgic, premium tactile desktop or shelf heirloom that immediately commands a signature spot in any fine mid-century gallery collection or modern interior display.Item Specifications

Visual Condition Report (As Photographed)This authentic 1970s collector's piece is in Excellent Vintage Condition. Close macro photos confirm:
Pristine Structural Edges: The heavy rectangular block features crisp, straight lines with sharp, uniform corners. There are no impact dings, rough chips, deep flea bites, or edge fractures anywhere on the perimeter.
Stunning Inner Depth: The internal carved skyline relief remains a bright, clean alabaster white with zero yellowing, internal cloudiness, resin degradation, or separation from the encasing block.
Authentic Surface Character: Under close direct inspection, the clear Lucite body retains a high-gloss brilliance, showing only faint, light microscopic shelf scratches on the flat bottom surface and minimal vintage polishing swirls on the face, which is expected and desirable for its 50+ year age.
