The original packaging features the wonderfully retro Proctor-Silex advertising slogan “THIS TOASTER HAS A BRAIN!” and promotes the company’s Bread Brain Control, described on the carton as a heat and moisture sensing system designed to toast bread, frozen bread, waffles and English muffins.
This toaster comes from the estate of Eva Stern, a noted fashion model whose estate contained numerous vintage household, fashion, promotional and presentation items.
