A beautiful vintage Royal Crown Derby boxed cutlery service featuring richly decorated porcelain handles in the traditional Imari palette of cobalt blue, iron red, white and gilt.
The complete 24-piece set is arranged across two matching fitted presentation cases and includes 12 knives and 12 forks, providing service for twelve. Each porcelain handle is decorated with floral and foliate motifs with extensive gilt detailing, while the polished metal utensils are marked “Royal Crown Derby – Made in England.”
The two fitted cases are lined in cream satin and retain the gold “Royal Crown Derby” branding inside the lids. An especially decorative table setting for desserts, fruit, luncheon service or entertaining, and beautiful displayed in the original-style fitted cases when not in use.

Condition: Very good vintage condition with the porcelain handles presenting beautifully overall. Metal surfaces show light age/use-related wear. The fitted cases show more age, including slight staining and wrinkling to the interior satin, wear and oxidation/tarnish to the metal hardware, and age-related wear to the exterior. The green fitted utensil supports also show wear and deterioration in areas. Please review all photographs closely as they form part of the condition description.
