Beautiful vintage handmade satin appliqué quilt featuring oversized floral pinwheel blocks in soft shades of turquoise, blush pink, ivory, gold, lavender, and chocolate brown. The glossy satin fabrics create a beautiful sheen that changes with the light, making this a striking decorative piece for a bedroom, guest room, or cottage-inspired interior.
This quilt was discovered carefully stored inside a cedar chest at an estate sale. Based on its exceptionally clean condition and crisp appearance, it appears to have been treasured in storage for many years and shows little, if any, evidence of ever being used. While I cannot guarantee its history, it presents beautifully.
The top features individually hand-applied satin petals and circles with visible hand stitching that gives the quilt wonderful handmade character. The reverse is finished in solid turquoise satin fabric with matching satin binding, making it attractive from either side.
Estimated to date from the 1970s–1980s, this is a wonderful example of vintage handmade decorative textile art.

Condition
Excellent vintage condition. Clean and fresh with no noticeable odors. Appears to have spent most of its life in storage. There are a few tiny pulls and minor imperfections consistent with age and handmade construction, but no major stains, holes, or tears. Please review all photos, as they are part of the description.
