Vtg 1970s Mid Century Leather Penguin Floor Sculpture 22” Showroom Display MCM For Sale

This is an authentic 50+ year old vintage estate find and shows a beautiful aged patina. The leather has been freshly cleaned and treated with premium leather conditioner. There is some age-appropriate cracking to the leather finish in spots and a few white paint splatters on the surface as seen in the pictures. The bottom cream section shows some natural UV oxidation/yellowing from age. The left flipper stays in a slightly swept-back position due to natural structural leather memory. The white section on the left flipper has yellowed more due to it being in the swept back position. No major seam separations or tears. When standing the penguin leans toward the back due to the feet being thicker. The stitching is completely solid and intact, but due to the natural tension of the machine-guided construction on vintage leather, there are visible needle puncture holes running along sections of the main black-and-white seam line. Please review all photos carefully as they form part of the condition description. Thank you for looking and God Bless!
