Up for sale is a gorgeous, highly collectible vintage 14-inch Nuremberg-style wax angel Christmas tree topper / centerpiece figurine. Handcrafted in Western Germany
Material: "Layered natural feathers," "parchment-like backing," "translucent gold-toned wings."
• Style: "Traditional," "angelic," "ethereal," "vintage charm."
• Condition: "Distressed," "shows age-appropriate wear," "separated feather barbs on right wing," "delicate patina."
There is noticeable fraying, splitting, and separation among the feather barbs (as shown in the close-up photos). They remain firmly attached but have a delicate, gently distressed vintage look that adds to the antique character of the piece. Please review the photos carefully to evaluate the condition

The angel is designed with a beautifully hand-painted wax face, soft blonde hair, an intricate wired halo, and delicately molded wax hands. She wears a luxurious, heavy dark green velvet gown lined in brilliant gold fabric, complete with a matching green velvet chest shawl and heavily detailed metallic gold brocade embroidery along the scalloped hemline. She is holding a crinkled metallic gold presentation scroll banner in her hands.
The underskirt hemline and sleeves contain hidden flexible wiring, allowing you to gracefully pose her on top of your holiday tree or display her standing flat as a tabletop centerpiece.
