Description:
Theitem up for offers is a circa 1951 Zippo advertising lighter for RCATubes. On the front is a red and silver enameled RCA lightning logowith RCA TUBES below. The back has an inscription for the DE MAMBRORADIO SUPPLY CO., BOSTON, WORCESTER, PROVIDENCE, MANCHESTER. Thelighter case is chrome plated steel and the flint spring screw headis 8mm diameter. It has a brushed finish front and back with mirrorpolished sides. The lighter comes in its original red candy stripedbox with the foldout guarantee booklet. The lighter is in amazingoriginal condition and would be a star in any Zippo or vacuum tubecollection, have some fun and offer!

It’sa standard full sized Zippo, about 2-1/4” inches tall, 1-1/2”wide, and 1/2” thick.

Condition:
Thelighter is in excellent vintage condition. It appears unused, thesurface has no notable flaws, scratches, dents, dings, etc. Theenameling on the RCA badge is glossy with great color. The wick looksun-fired and there is no soot or heat discoloration in the lid orwind guard. The striker wheel spins freely and has a white mark fromthe flint (it needs a new flint). The box is in fair to good shapewith age appropriate storage and handling wear. Two corners of thelid are split. The box colors are good. The back is creased at thefold. The guarantee booklet is clean and crisp with bright color. Thepictures are the best indicator as to condition, please use the zoomfeature and check them out.
