Beautiful Mid-Century Modern Westinghouse Automatic Electric Skillet with the hard-to-find copper anodized lid. Model EPP-551, made in Mansfield, Ohio, USA in the late 1950s / early 1960s.
This is the complete set with original detachable power cord and temperature control built into the handle.
Condition / Flaws - Please Read:
This is a 65+ year old used skillet with honest wear from use. It has a great display look, but it is not mint.
• Lid: Copper lid has light scuffs, surface scratches, and small dark marks from age and use. Still has a nice shine for display.
• Temperature Guide: The printed temperature listing / cooking guide sticker on the underside of the handle has some peeling and wear - partially legible.
• Dial Face: Face of the temperature dial on the end of the handle shows some corrosion / pitting and wear.
• Base: Silver aluminum base shows light pitting, discoloration, and cooking marks inside and out, typical for these pans.
Function:
Tested and heats up. I filled with water and it came to a simmer on low setting. Temperature dial turns. Original cord has no exposed wires - insulation is intact but stiff with age as expected. Sold as vintage electrical - please use with care.
