Here’s A VERY RARE AND DESIRABLE EARLY 1600s CHEVRON GLASS FUR TRADE BEAD. Found on the Seneca Iroquois Dann site (1655-1675) near Lima NY in Monroe county. Bead is a 4 layer chevron with white, redwood, white and redwood layers. The bead has 2 sets of 6 simple stripes - navy blue and redwood. The bead is labeled as “IVnn4" in the kidd and kidd bead classification. Measures approx 5/8" diameter Piece came from the Ted Siri collection of Watkins Glen Ny. Ex Ted Siri. Ex Cicero.
