Vintage camp hatchet / small axe with US96 stamp. The US96 marking is associated with Woodings-Verona axe production.
Sold AS-IS as a restoration, display or collection piece. The head shows substantial oxidation/rust, scratches and edge wear. The wood handle shows heavy age/use, carved/marked decoration, black tape wrap near the head and visible old repair/fastener work.
Not cleaned, sharpened or restored. Because of the handle condition and repairs, it should be professionally inspected/rehandled before any functional use. Please use the photos as the primary condition reference.
