The surfer in San Pedro name is SCARECROW possibly had met Jennifer while she visited or had stayed in California with her brother.
The letters: Several have doodling artwork from SCARECROW. Scarecrow almost always stated the same message per letter. I Love You and miss you. I smoked some righteous bud. I'm growing some weed. Talked about surfing and waves. Said he was horny and missed her. Talked about buying weed smoking it, growing it and partys. Even mentioned prices in the 1970's pre legalized (of course). He mentioned mushrooms too.
Scarecrow doodled his creative stoned artwork on the envelopes and letters.
Jennifer finally moved to California to go to UCSB. She liked surfing and waves too.
