Hi there,
I\'m selling this rare antique G.P.O. copper oil lamp from the early 1900s, with its original lid and wick.
Most likely produced by T.E. Bladon & Son Ltd, though it has no markings, I can see.
This vintage lamp is made of high-quality copper. You can see the copper trying to shine through in places.
It has a well-used, oiled finish, giving it a slightly grey colour.
Please see the photos and feel free to ask any questions.
I might be wrong, but i have seen this described as an \"Engine Heat Lamp, For Extreme Cold Weather\".
The lamp used oil or spirit as the fuel and is in really authentic, well-used condition.
It does have a few dents, and the lid has been pushed down too hard at some point in its long history.
There\'s lots of wick just waiting to be used.
The lamp is in its original untouched condition, with an amazing patina and is perfect for collectors of antique lamps and lighting and could be a beautiful addition for any collection of antique decor...
I will pack it very carefully for travel.
Thanks for looking, and i\'m always open to reasonable.
Do please checkout my other items and response.
I\'m always happy to combine postage.
