Greetings fellow Megatouch fanatics and restorers! :)Lowest price guarantee and indefinite warrantee! Over 40 years in coin-op collecting/operating! Same account for nearly a quarter century! Probably the largest single inventory of new-old-stock, used, and alternate Megatouch and Infinity parts left on the planet!
If only your ML-1 video card went bad (especially if the cooling fan failed long ago), your motherboard might still be a-okay! Sure, we also have the rare and hard to find new-old-stock complete ML-1 motherboards here for you (video card and RAM included), but as a passionate collector/hoarder I shudder at the thought of any good working boards of any kind going into the trash, not to mention the money you can save on repair parts! (My motto: No Trash-Yes Cash! Heh-heh). So, let's be sure your motherboard is really at fault...
If you're handy and experienced with handling sensitive electronics, first connect a good external computer/TV monitor to the video output of your existing system to see if the problem is actually your LCD screen or something other than the video card or motherboard. If no luck there, next gently remove the old video card from the motherboard, and connect the external monitor to the normally unused video output located directly on the ML-1 motherboard. If you get an image on screen, then the problem is the video card, which you can replace with the new never-used item offered here. No risk except a bit of shipping, since we're glad to accept a return if this doesn't work for you, or consider keeping it as a spare for someday. These are long out of production, so when they're gone, they're likely gone forever.
If you just don't have the time for much tinkering and troubleshooting, ask the family computer nerd or a local shop to carefully remove the whole mother/video boardset as-is, and if they can't troubleshoot it, ship to us for free diagnosis. If it turns out your boardset is fully working or if you don't want any replacement parts, you pay only for return shipping. If you need and want a replacement board or boards, you pay only the usual listing price, and your old boards are returned to you as well at no extra charge.
First thing though... If your ML-1 machine doesn't show any signs of life at all, you might just need a fresh CR2032 motherboard CMOS battery or RAM card. Write us for more help with those if needed! Best of luck! :)
