Scarce Remington 3B portable typewriter. This model was produced for less than 2 years.Its serial number, C102996, dates it to 1935.
The 3B is arguably the sexiest Depression Era, Art Deco typewriter ever produced. Just look at those curves!
Very good cosmetic condition! It looks great but, to be fair, the decal is a bit worn, the keyboard and paint are a bit faded, there are some dings and it has a bit of internal dust. Nonetheless, it is still a gorgeous example.
The typewriter works really, really well. Carriage advances and returns well. Nice ding at the end of each line. No sticking typebars. Just needs a new ribbon and ready to write.
This Remington types 10 characters per inch (Pica).
Again, very good condition!
