ORIGINAL 1937 GERMAN HAPAG MARITIME BROCHURE / SUMMER SCHEDULE “Sommerfahrplan 1937” for the fast ships “COBRA” and “KÖNIGIN LUISE” – an outstanding pre-WWII German shipping timetable with strong Kriegsmarine / WWII crossover interest.
This is a genuine period fold-out brochure showing routes and sailing schedules tied to Hamburg St. Pauli Landungsbrücken (Brücke 3) and popular North Sea destinations including Helgoland, Sylt, Amrum, Föhr, and Cuxhaven.
WWII / Kriegsmarine Historical Tie-In
Cobra was requisitioned by the Kriegsmarine on August 26, 1939, just days before the invasion of Poland.
It was converted for wartime service and armed, and was sunk in 1942.
This makes the brochure highly desirable to collectors of German naval / Kriegsmarine paper and maritime ephemera.
