I own an advertising specialty company - now in our 47th year I am happy to report - and I worked in the industry for many years prior to establishing my own firm. For a long time my best client was what was formerly known as \"The Bell System\". Of course after divestiture it was broken up into what was generally called the \"Baby Bells\" - and later morphed into many variations.So over the years we worked very closely with Western Electric, AT&T, Southern Bell, Bellsouth, Bell South International, Lucent Technologies, OFS, Avaya, etc. I collected many over-run samples, one-of-a-kind spec samples, and the likes.I am now selling much of that collection via . Here is an unusual collection of 6 different advertising gifts we sold to AT&T in the 1990\'s. However, these were over-run samples, never used, and in as new condition! All have been kept in sealed containers in one of our climate controlled sample rooms.
And here is what the fortunate buyer will receive:
A. AT&T sponsored many golf outings, and we supplied a variety of related goods - and frequently golf balls. Here is a sleeve of 3 Titleist 384DT90 balls printed with the AT&T logo. Most of the golf balls we supplied were 90 compression, and on rare occasions 100. I was told by Titleist that the average golfer was unable to hit a ball hard enough to effectively use a 100 compression ball. 90 was recommended. They were made in the U.S.A.
B. Caps and visors were also a popular item. Here is an unusual style with a somewhat gold hue and the AT&T logo with tag line...\"The Right Choice\". It features genuine tweed trim, expandable supported elastic back for a comfortable fit, and was better made in Taiwan, not china.
C. The other visor is in plastic and displays an unusual AT&T logo. The world famous AT&T logo is shown on a hot air balloon. Actually, the graphics department had to get special permission to have these printed in this manner. It was so unusual, we used it on a few other advertising items as well. Made in the U.S.A.
D. Golf tee & markers were popular. This set included four wood tees, each imprinted \"AT&T\", a logoed marker, and all in a handy package. Also U.S.A. made.
E. These sunglasses are in a black synthetic material with 100% UV protection lenses. The AT&T copy on the stem as shown. Also made in Taiwan, not China.
F. This golf \"ditty bag\" is unusual and rare in that it has an incorrect AT&T logo. There were several versions of this \"Globe\" logo, including 4,6 & 12 line styles. Also, there were \"positive\" and \"reverse\" ones. The number of lines depended upon the imprint size and where applied. In each style, the \"highlight\" in the upper left corner of the globe had to always be the lightest color. Hence the positive and reverse style printing. These bags were needed in a rush situation, and our factory used an incorrect logo. However, due to the immediate need, there was no time to reprint. Actually, there were several instances where we unfortunately mis-printed the logo. In different listings I have over-run examples listed - assuming not yet sold.
Now about this interesting golfers \"ditty bag\". The size is 5\" x 6.5\" with zipper closure and clip-on attachment to hook to ones golf bag. It is in blue nylon and water proof. It was U.S.A. manufactured.
Although as mentioned, these over-run samples are from the 1990\'s, they have never been used and in as new condition! Each will be well packaged to insure safe delivery.
And NOTE: Almost all U.S.A. made! How rare!
