Cloisonnè is an ancient technique for decorating metalwork objects, in recent centuries using vitreous enamel, and in older periods also inlays of cut gemstones, glass, and other materials. The resulting objects can also be called cloisonnè. The decoration is formed by first adding compartments (cloisons in French) to the metal object by soldering or adhering silver or gold wires or thin strips placed on their edges. These remain visible in the finished piece, separating the different compartments of the enamel or inlays, which are often of several colors. Cloisonnè enamel objects are worked on with enamel powder made into a paste, which then needs to be fired in a kiln.

US orders are shipped by expedited mail which is an Italian postal service that is delivered by US Postal Service. After processing and leaving the warehouse, items usually take between 7 and 14 days to arrive at their destination in the USA, but can take longer from time to time due to US Customs.
Pandemic UPDATE: Unfortunately shipping now takes on average up to 6/8 weeks and if your delivery is time-bound it's best to upgrade to UPS 3/5 days.
UK Border Fee - A fee will be implemented, effective 01/01/2021, on all shipments (excluding letters and documents) exported and imported between European Union Countries and Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales), as well as shipments between Northern Ireland and Great Britain.
