Early Roman LION SHIELD --- sca/larp/celtic/gaul/viking/norse/wood/wooden/armor: $170.19
Available here is a beautiful hand-painted wooden shield featuring an original lion face design inspired by shields seen during the Roman and Gaul conflicts. The design has been painted over a rich wood-grain background. Stainless steel studs line the shield's edge. Dual leather straps are used to secure the arm along the back—one going over the forearm and one intended to be gripped or held. The shield is made out of 1/2 inch thick plywood, and is relatively light and quick and responsive. The front of theshield has also been applied with several coats of topcoat/varnish to protect and preserve itthrough the years. It measures about 33 inches tall by 22 inches wide. Whether for the wall or the battlefield, this shield is well-balanced and ready to serve. * Please Note: The picture shown represent 2 examples of this shield that I've made in the past. Because wood-grain patterns are unique and slightly different, the shields shown in the pictures may vary slightly from the one you receive. No two shields are exactly alike"DUTY/TAXES ARE FREE SERVICES FOR U.S BUYER ONLY"
