Ben Bawidamann built this Skuld to work hard. The blade is CPM S35VN, a full-tang build, acid etched under a bronze pearl patina and fitted with blasted black G10 on both sides. Then Ben cut teeth into it, into the cutting edge and aggressive jimping across the spine.
The serrations. The edge is plain toward the tip and serrated toward the handle. A serrated edge starts out cutting a little behind a plain one, catches up within about twenty cuts, and keeps working long after a plain edge has gone dull. That makes it the right edge for rope, webbing, straps and hose, the tough jobs.
The finish. Each blade is etched and patina\'d by hand, so the pattern on this one belongs to this blade alone.
