Offered is a vintage Ramses tin dating to the late 1920s, produced by Julius Schmid, Inc. This is an exceptionally interesting piece of early 20th-century advertising and pharmaceutical history.
The tin features the distinctive Egyptian-themed Ramses artwork, with original printed paper packaging/wrappers still present inside the tin. The packaging is printed in both French and English and includes the period wording:
“RAMSES QUALITY IS KNOWN THE WORLD OVER…”
The tin and paper pieces show age-appropriate wear, discoloration, staining, and surface oxidation consistent with their age. Please carefully review all photos, as they are an important part of the condition description.
